A simple Google Chrome extension, that quickly serves latest images from xkcd.com.
Go to releases and follow instructions.
Please, ensure you have NodeJS Package Manager (npm) installed:
- Debian/Ubuntu:
sudo apt-get install npm - Fedora:
sudo yum install npm
git clone https://github.com/poxip/xkcd-today.git
cd xkcd-today
npm install
Then
- go to chrome://extensions in Chrome, click "Load extension without package" and select xkcd-today/app
or
- execute
./grunt buildand install built .crx extension file from dist directory
