In your PyCon talk you were asked a question about color options. I wanted to share these two great talks about choosing colors to help inspire you and to hopefully make your lives easier:

Perceptual color maps
Neither of these talks are mine but they did a lot of leg work that I try to use in my presentations and color choices.
