How did you upgrade to 21.10? (Fresh install / Upgrade)
Upgraded from 21.04

Issue/Bug Description:
I have a USB-WLAN adapter listed in lsusb as:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0bda:8176 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188CUS 802.11n WLAN Adapter

When it is connected, the system will crash a short moment after booting. It takes a bit longer when I do not log into gnome directly but switch to a tty. This happen son 5.15, on 5.13 the system is stable.

The following modules get loaded on 5.13 for the adapter:

lsmod|grep rtl
rtl8xxxu 139264 0
rtl8192cu 81920 0
rtl_usb 20480 1 rtl8192cu
rtl8192c_common 65536 1 rtl8192cu
rtlwifi 94208 3 rtl8192c_common,rtl_usb,rtl8192cu
mac80211 1024000 4 rtl_usb,rtl8192cu,rtlwifi,rtl8xxxu
cfg80211 897024 3 rtlwifi,mac80211,rtl8xxxu
