Hiding and customizing Post-it note not working #28

Even though I navigate to Appearance - Customize - Theme Options - Post-it Note and click the Hide button, the Post-it Note still shows up on the homepage.

Also, when I edit the title and description, nothing changes on the live website.

I'm using WP 5.8.3 and Noto Version: 1.2.2
