Maybe in a future version there will be a voice recording feature? Sometimes when making videos, it would be really nice to have this feature, instead of just regular recording! Just like the frequencies IRL,

For that kind of thing I suggest using OBS Studio. It can capture audio from TrackAudio, plus your video sources and a bunch of other stuff.

I have tried it, but you know, if you listen to the frequency as a third person, it is a unique experience. For example, if you use OBS, you can't hear biiii when you and others are blocking. But if it's someone else, you can hear it.

The way this was done before (with the other Audio For VATSIM client) was people would use an ATIS callsign and enter it into the add station input field, this would prompt the other client to say something like station not in the database, please manually enter the frequency which they would then set to the frequency they were transmitting on. Then they would, but in the context of TrackAudio, set the radio that is prefixed as some random ATIS position to use the SPK output and their primary frequency to use their headset output therefore allowing them to hear themselves back through their SPK output.

However, TrackAudio does not have this provision in place so would need to be added. @pierr3 is this something we want to implement, not entirely sure whether we want to allow manual frequency selection or primarily just use the database?

We can't add a loopback this way simply because the frequency is used as an index in the backend, so you can't have two of the same frequencies without a major re-rewrite - we can see how to do this but it won't be as easy and not something we will do immediately.
