Polling interval

Using an RS485 to USB device, I had set the polling to 30 seconds.
With no solar production this seemed OK but when the inverter was busy producing power from the panels, I would see missing data randomly. (btw, did not see this issue with SA)
I wanted to change the polling time but could see no way of doing so without deleting then re adding the integration.
Is there a way of changing this and indeed the host setting without deleting the integration ?

Unfortunately there is not a way to configure the integration through the UI at the moment. I have seen other integrations that have this capability but I do not have the time to investigate it. Would be a great contribution from a user however if someone sends me a pull request with this improvement.

BTW, I have my polling set at 10 seconds using mbusd on a separate openwrt device. If you are having trouble at 30 seconds that seems strange. Might indicate your HA platform is CPU bound? I don't know but you might try slowing to 60 seconds and see what that does. What model Sol-Ark do you have? I have a 12KOD and can confirm that there are no errors polling at 10 second intervals.

HA is running on a Dell desktop with an i3 3220 CPU with 8gb memory and 500gb HD so it should be managing fine.
Solark is the exact same model as yours.
I changed the polling to 60 seconds and that has not helped.
I will try a different RS485 dongle next.

BTW, is there a file where the setup is stored so we can adjust the settings manually without having to re-install your integration ?

Solved and polling at 10 second intervals now !!!

I swapped "Teyleten Robot USB to RS485 485 Converter Adapter CH340T" 3 for $8 on Amazon
for this "#10Gtek# USB to RS485 Converter with CH340" $6.49 each on Amazon.
Both converters have worked fine on SA but I assume SA has been hiding the missed comms or maybe their is a slight compatibility issue somewhere ?
