In your mention of using ModPoll as a way to test a ModBus connection to a SolArk inverter, you give an example that includes an IP address and not a COM port. I could be wrong (and please explain if I am) but the ModBus connector on the SolArk is a serial connection involving the pins B- and A+. What would be the means to test my ModBus connection using ModPoll if my USB modbus connector was located at, say, COM11?
