What is the proper way to enable disabled entities?

For example Battery Temperature. I tried setting entity_registry_enabled_default in const.py but that seemed to make all hidden entities dissappear.

Entities are enabled/disabled via the UI and not by editing the python files. The technique is the same for all integrations (ie not specific to this integration).

Investigate "Settings -> Devices & Services -> Entities" and/or consult the HA documentation.

I got a warning/error on that screen which stopped me, but I should have gone further. Once I clicked advanced settings and enabled everything was good, thanks.
