Issue Description
It looks like pandas does not provide the correct buffer information for the data buffer.
pyarrow and polars implementations of
from_dataframe
also gets the wrong data.Expected Behavior
Result should be equal to the input dataframe.
@MarcoGorelli another one! 😬 this one was a bit harder to debug
