A scratch sheet of stuff that needs design thinking, some of which may already be implemented:

  • Data upload/import process
  • User creation, management, etc -- how creates users?
  • Search w/o login
  • Dataset view vs. edit vs. preview vs. search -- the many ways to look at a dataset
  • How to deal with email, technically -- Amazon SES? do we provide a tutorial? does the system work w/o this set up?
  • Similar to email, SSL -- the system ought to work w/o SSL
