Panoramic aspect ratios (65:24)?

Would it be possible to have panoramic aspect ratios with the modified firmware, like 2:1 or the Xpan famous 65:24?
I know that cropping in post production can easily achieve that but here I mean having such aspect ratios on the display during composition.
