The z/OS Open Source Guild meetings are back! Join us Monday, September 25, at 10am EST for our 12th z/OS Open Source Guild Meeting. The session will feature guest speakers Kishor Kulkarni and Madhu Ananthapadmanabh as they discuss their Apache Kafka port. If you're interested in learning more about the porting process, then this is a great opportunity to learn from their experience!

More specifically, we will be covering the following topics:

• Demos:
  • Madhu/Kishor to present their Kafka port
  • LLaMa.cpp w/ LLaMa 2 LLM
• Updates in z/OS Open Tools, including the new zopen release. Try it now!
• Summary of the new tools and libraries we've released
• z/OS Package manager discussion
• We'll end with a discussion into what's next, survey and Q/A
