Is it possible to update Podman/container security?

I want to improve Podman/container security. From what I understand, UDM runs UniFi Network Application in Podman container, but container version is very out-of-date. Is there a newer build of Podman I can install/apply to the latest firmware version of UDM without breaking anything? How would I go about it? I only run default Network Application (+UDM Boot script) without any other apps and/or add-ons. I don't run any additional applications, like Pi-Hole, just the default Network Application.
