for the softMiV processor, we can compute the time since start in milliseconds using: CURRENT_MTIME_MS ((MRV_read_mtime() / (SYS_CLK_FREQ / (MTIME_PRESCALER * 1.0))) * 1000). For the ICICLE Kit, REFCLK is 125.000 MHz, but what it the resulting RTC_TOGGLE_RATE for MTIME referenced in the TRM ? |

Found that, for PolarfireSoC, the MTIME toggle rate is set to 1Mhz by the MSS_CONFIGURATOR_GUI. So each 'tick' of CLINT-<mtime is 1 uS, so 1000 ticks = 1 mS. |
