As part of an internal hackathon related to Nautobot, our team created a plugin code named Merlin (Name is going to change). The goal was to create a tool to help get started with Nautobot quicker. It took advantage of adding middleware to help identify when a required field was missing for adding a new component.
On top of that, this integrates with the NetBox Device Type library through a git integration. The plugin will pull in the device types and manufacturers at this point into the Nautobot database.
