Localized Short year?

I am curious as to how it would be possible to achieve a short year format in the localized dates (P, PP, etc.)

The default is showing a 4 digit year. Is it possible to change that so that it becomes 2 digits?

I found a way to do it. Maybe it's not the prettiest but can give someone an idea.

 const defaultDate = lang.formatLong.date;
 lang.formatLong.date = (...args: any[]) => args?.[0]?.width === "short" ? defaultDate(...args)?.replace("yyyy", "yy") : defaultDate(...args); 

Basically, you just wrap the default function and apply your modification. Then you pass that locale to the format functions or whoever needs it.
