So the old staking system would show when validators were changing their commission. I do agree the bait and switch approach is not honest and that locking commission changes for a period of time makes a lot of sense. In the end this is a better discussion for Darwinia DAO as the DAO will be the ones to push implementation. I don't think this is a fundamental part of the staking core design. Possible revision: When the user updates their commission, the staking pallet can deposit an event. Creating a graph to display recent commission changes over the last 180 days is straightforward. |
