I'm very very very surprised we do not have such a ZIM already. Especially since we already have the (very outdated now) explain XKCD at https://library.kiwix.org/viewer#explainxkcd_en_all_maxi_2021-03/

Zimit should work well indeed, just need a bunch of CSS to hide "random" button which is not going to work + be useless (already implemented in readers), and hide rss / atom feeds (and maybe few other links)
