@leleliu008 is this the only required change to support NetBSD? I'm not sure it makes sense to merge this if not.
In a similar manner, I'm concerned about the HaikuOS define as it could be interpreted as a support intent while AFAIK we don't plan to (unless this is trivial)

After apply these two patches, I successfully built this project on NetBSD. I myself port this project for NetBSD https://github.com/leleliu008/ppkg-formula-repository-official-core/blob/master/formula/libzim.yml#L12C41-L13
