So, any progress on this? BTW, this really needs to be mirrored so you aren't a single point of failure. Also, any has archive.org expressed any interest in hosting the timestamps themselves? |

Not really. Just some (slow) progress on a Rust rewrite that would make it easier to start again.

Indeed. Hard to achieve though.
That said, the underlying timestamp data is on archive.org if you want to get a copy: https://archive.org/details/opentimestamp-internetarchive-dataset

I'm fact, I visited them in person a few years ago to discuss how they could integrate OpenTimestamps directly into their infrastructure. While the meeting was mostly positive, and we came up with a completely viable technical architecture, I did get pushback on the basis that OpenTimestamps uses Bitcoin.
Unfortunately, I suspect that some people at the archive do not want the project to go ahead purely on the basis that they don't want to promote Bitcoin.
