Proposal to purchase an upgraded imagery server to combined ironbelly and kessie has been agreed by the operations team.

The server is a HPE DL380 Gen9:
2 x 12 core Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 v4 @ 2.20GHz
64GB RAM
P840 controller
12 LFF (3.5") disk bays
2x SFF (2.5") 400GB SAS SSD OS disks.

New 6x 18TB or 20TB LFF (3.5") enterprise SAS disks will be purchased for storage.

Budget is ~€2500 using upgrade and some contingency from 2024 budget.

Started a request with OSMF Treasurer for the purchase of the storage disks.

Like some sort of magic, server has been racked already: https://hardware.openstreetmap.org/servers/lockheed.openstreetmap.org/

Disks will be ordered on Monday.

Server is up and running. I will create a separate ticket for disks.
