openSRP data currently going into openMRS as a patient and encounter. But currently no more effective usages of these records by clinicians. For effective usage of these records in clinic, all clinical activities conduct on these same patient from facilities need to back into openSRP app. To ensure effective usage of openSRP data in clinical workflow like consultation, giving medications and lab test, OpenSRP need a seamless integration with an EMR system. We decided usage of Bahmni MRS in place of core OpenMRS for it. We hope this would give OpenSRP more power as a health system addressing both health worker activities at household level and getting patient next follow up from community clinic, hospitals or other government facilities.
We earlier made an integration with openSRP- Bhamni in our DGHS-vaccination app for sending its records to government Shared Health Record System (SHR). But by this time both system evolved. Also OpenSRP changed its data model and switched its database from couchDB to postgres. So need to revise these integration in required places.

Hi Sohel,
This is an important discussion. We have a requirement to integrate with
Bamnhi in Tanzania. Can we create or build out this issue to identify what
the key requirements for making this integration work are?
Thanks,
Matt
