What is the bug?

This repo has not had issues triaged for months. The oldest untriaged issue is from June 2023.

What is the expected behavior?

Weekly triage of issues, invalid or obsolete issues closed (e.g. #562), user problems attended to.

We are working on addressing some of the open issues (label:bug) in the next few weeks. We have been working on getting few of the critical fixes, which have been back ported to 2.11, 2.9, 2.7 and 2.5 versions.
