I am trying to boot Linux on Spike . However when i run in spike the spike_w_payload.elf (a custom Linux image built from cva6-sdk repo) it hangs in the routine sbi_hart_hang, while running it using the spike from the official repo the Linux boots normally. I observed that the Spike in CVA6 repository is a modified version of the Spike from the official repository and i imagine that this is happening to support the spike_tandem mode. I am wondering if it is normal not booting Linux and if so is there any document to read in order to understand the modifications and make the appropriate changes to support booting Linux.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Is there an existing CVA6 bug for this?
