[Bug] Firefox bookmarks cause app to crash

Describe the bug
It show only a blank screen, moment after "normal" startup

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Open the App, whether "show", "settings" or "about us"

Expected behavior
The app works, shows it controls/function

• OS: Windows 11 23 H2
• Version 9.5.0, issue with MS-Store and msi installer

Additional context
Ueli 8.29.0 was insalled before. Uninstalling does not help

What happens if you press Ctrl+R?

when pressing Ctrl+R it shows the controls for some milliseconds and goes back to the blank screen

Did you use any other v9 version before or did you upgrade from ueli v8 directly to v9.5.0?

I installed 9.1 (or around that version) and also then the same bug occured. then I was thinking I will wait with updating until the bug is fixed..

Ok here is what you could try:

• Uninstall all versions of ueli
• If you want to keep your settings from v8, make sure to make a backup of %APPDATA%\ueli\ueli.config.json
• Delete the folder %APPDATA%\ueli
• Install ueli v9 again and check if it works now

Glad to hear, then I consider this to be resolved.

sorry, me again, but the same problem occured again....
It worked well, I did some configuration, the last action I did was enabling browser bookmark search for firefox.
Now it only shows a empty window:

with no chance to go to the settings or or anything else...

You can reset the settings by removing the folder %APPDATA%\ueli. I assume that it's some sort of issue with the Firefox Bookmark extension then. I suggest not turning that on until we know what it could be.

yeah! It's running again!
... but all my settings were gone then (of course), so I just removed the BrowserBookmaks from extensions.enabledExtensionIds, and I can confirm it was this causing the problem.

btw: had a moment to find uelis %APPDATA%. For the store release its located under
%AppData%\Local\Packages\1915OliverSchwendener.Ueli_a397x08q5x7rp
