While researching your tool to use in my own project I had difficulty with finding the python version. Of course it's not that hard to do but still it's not handy. Also for PyPI they ask you to do it and it's just a nice thing to do with python projects because of the 2.7/3 diversion, people are still coding in 2.7 too!
