OASIS Transition Team,

I’m puzzled regarding how messaging is supposed to work on the new platform. I sent a message to our TC a week ago on our discussion list and got a reply to my account inbox, along with a copy of that reply sent directly to my company email. I presume the sender use the Reply Privately option in the platform’s discussions tool (but don’t know for sure). But I don’t see any way to reply to that individual message: if I try to reply from my corporate email, the To: address that appears is [email protected]. While viewing the message in my profile Inbox, clicking the “View inbox and reply to the message online” link takes me back to my inbox but I don’t see an option anywhere for creating a reply to that private message on the platform. The only menu options while viewing the message are “mark as unread” and “delete”.

I’ve replied to the sender via external email but there’s the clear implication I should be able to do so within the platform. I just can’t figure out any path to do so.

I’m left to ask: how the heck is this supposed to work?

Dave
