After sending my TC* a message to try and clarify the attendance recording process, it occurred to me that there might be an easy simplification. What’s different in the new system is the need to RSVP, which wasn’t necessary with Kavi. Is it possible to configure the Events system so that TC members (or maybe all non-observer members) automatically get RSVP’d when the event is created without needing to explicitly do so?
It’s possible the OpenC2 TC is unique in using a meeting tool (Lucid Meetings for us) that sends its own invitations, leading to the situation where sending invitations from OASIS creates parallel invitations and the potential for confusion. But if we’re not the only TC with that circumstance, automatic RSVPing might be a useful simplification.
