Nx automatically cleans up the cache every week or so. Would you like a setting where it is cleaned up more often? It could be an environment variable.

You can also clear it with nx reset.

I don't think having a disk space limit on the size of the cache would make much sense.

how do you figure ? one project I've only been working on for a couple days has already hit many MB of disk space. People need to get out of this "we have tons of space in 2024" mindset. if you have 10 projects all using NX and using its caching, that size can grow exponentially depending on the size of projects and how often something changes. from what I have seen every time I make a simple change to a lib it creates yet another copy of it in the cache. imo this is ridiculous to begin with. why does it not just remove all old caches when it has to rebuild?
