How to get text over images?

I'm looking to get something like in the Parallax demo (https://swiperjs.com/demos#parallax) but with a normal slide, I tried looking at the code of the parallax example but I couldn't figure out how to adapt it, please help

Also I've tried to get the slide to show in one side and image, and the other some text using a grid div, a div for the image and a div for the text and it works but the text overlaps when pressing the Next button, this doesn't happen with the Prev button, only with the Next
