The popup cannot be closed

We use the plugin (version 1.1.1) for a bilingual craft website (version 4.4.9). While we do not have the error in the local environment, we cannot close the popup on the test link as well as on the live link on the server: You click the Close button, the message disappears briefly and reappears immediately.
