We thought it might be interesting to analyze the rank of these QK and OV matrices and see if they show any patterns. Do they always reach their theoretical maximum rank? Why or why not?

We've just checked for GPT-125M, and the QK and OV matrices always reach their maximum theoretical rank. We could still look into how the singular values are distributed.
