Problem

Some guys have done a plugin that does export layers to google earth and since this plugin is already approved in QGIS it would be great to consolidate all the export functionality into one plugin.

Solution

Please look at https://github.com/vivanmig/QGIS and if you are okay I could arrange them that they make a PR again this branch.

feel free, of course, we'll be happy to review the PR

PS: we've done something like this loooong time ago, but as a separate C++ lib http://gis-lab.info/qa/qgis2google-eng.html

@simgislab Hello, I'm new to GitHub and QGIS plugin publication so am not quite sure how this works. If I do merge my plugin with yours, where should I submit/upload the new code to? Thanks!

Hi

  1. Fork send2google_earth from here https://github.com/nextgis/send2google_earth#fork-destination-box
  2. Make your changes
  3. Send us pull request for review.

All steps through Github, no need to send code separately anywhere.

Hi there @simgislab , I uploaded the plugin zip file to the link above about two months ago. We would like to know if you've had a chance to review the code yet? We appreciate any thoughts or comment.
