I was going through the functional annotation results and I noticed that for the uniprot blast results, if the gene name has more than 3 numbers ( and not morethanXnumbers(name, 3) ), the functional annotation is discarded for that gene.
I could not find anything in the documentation about this, so I was wondering if there was a reason for this filter?
