Do we need a GUI?
What problems would we try to solve with it?
What exactly would we want to see in such a GUI? Would it only bee a graphical representation of the same outputs of the CLI, or, for example, a browsable view of the produced JSON results? Or something else entirely?

Your views and suggestions are very much welcome!

I have done some experiments, but I haven't been very satisfied with my results thus far. The essence is that I am not convinced a graphical/web UI would provide any substantive advantage to the current terminal interface, considering the target user base.

I would be interested to hear from everyone what they would think would be important to have as an interface, and for what particular purposes could it differ from the terminal interface.

Wonderful idea. I recently saw this stunning German documentation about PEGASUS, where they used mockup graphics to descibe what PEGASUS looks like (as can be seen here). Why not use the same easy interface style?

Thank you to all developers working to decrypt and identify and break PEGASUS since it's a cyberthreat to humanity.

chiming in as a (maybe, hopefully) soon-to-be-contributor:

I agree that the target audience (forensic analysts) do not require a GUI.

Anyhow, mvt could be UI-agnostic, so that eventually with enough interest different UI's are possible and interchangeable.

What about the creation of a PDF report to be shared as evidence of the just performed analysis?
