Is is possible without too much trouble to support webrtc?
I use https://github.com/mpromonet/webrtc-streamer to render webrtc streams in Chrome from a couple of IP video cameras around the house (the IP cams offer a RTSP stream). These can be cast to my Google Hub from Chrome.
Perhaps once a video has rendered in Chrome, it can be cast, regardless of codec. It would be great if I could point mkchromecast at the webrtc endpoint and run it all headless.
