Hi, minutes before midnight a quick shot - no big deal, just cosmetics:
On my Intel NUC with external RTX 2070 I got WiFi and Ethernet and Docker and VMware (virtual) adapters, so a bit more filtering would be needed to show the right adapter IP to connect to.

Thanks a ton for your app!
G.

Thanks for the feedback @ai-bits . I know that the web server can get confused in such cases. But does the app work for you? Or can't you get your mobile devices to connect to the server?

Thanks a lot!

As said, I regard it just as a cosmetic issue, cuz normal users won´t have any vNetDevices and pros should realize quickly what the real address is. Dunno if it´s worth to invest any time here.

Important thing is the app does seem to work and I´m looking forward to spending more than the two minutes yesterday night.

Actually I´d like to take your concept further and use a touchscreen as dynamic keyboard for the FS. Needa read up on your plans on the forum or if there is sth out there already.

Thanks again
G.

Thanks again for the info. For now, I think I'll leave the IP address identification as it is because it only affects a small number of users. Plus, I consider such users enough experienced that they can sort it out themselves. Not that I wouldn't care, but there are more important features at the moment to fix/implement.

Regarding your concept, have a look at the Flight Tracker Stream Deck Plugin (https://github.com/nguyenquyhy/Flight-Tracker-StreamDeck) for inspiration. I don't have a Stream Deck, but I know quite a lot of simmers use it.

If you have a Raspberry Pi or a newer Android device you can try out

https://stream-pi.com/ for streamdeck.

I just learned about it yesterday and started trying to get it setup with my stuff.

Exactly.

Thanks for caring to make suggestions re dynamic kbd! E.g. for StreamDeck I got all kinds of gadgets lying around here, including Raspberry Pis,...

My current reality thou is that I just got ahold of the ONLY available joystick model (Thrustmaster T.Flight Stick X) and all others sold out with no ETA. Without the keyboard challenges I managed to do a bit of flying.
Cheers
G.
