then: how to cross compile ?

i cant find the doc, is it possible to use the same approach as in numpy perhaps? https://numpy.org/doc/stable/user/building.html#cross-compilation

The recommended way is to use setuptools, available from PyPI. There's documentation at https://setuptools.pypa.io/en/latest/setuptools.html.
