It would be really convenient to be able to select only the login or the password on a page when setting custom fields as not every page contain both. Sometimes the other one is on a different page, sometimes it simply doesn't exist but as of now it's required to select a login field to be able to select a password field and it doesn't validate the custom field if there isn't a password field selected...
I'm using the mooltipass since less than a month and it happened several times were I was blocked because of that.
I also changed all my password and often on the page to change password it detect the old password and the new one as fields for the password which means that if I save the password on the device it's actually saving the old one not the new one and I can't delete the field detection for the old one as there isn't a login on that page. Made the mistake a few times and messed up my passwords because of that...
What do you think about this idea ?

This seems to be an increasingly common issue for me. In recent years sites like to put only the username/email field on their login page, having to press enter/click something to enter the password on a second page or maybe the same page but hidden first. I encountered about 4-5 often used sites with this issue. An example is the current state of https://login.mailbox.org/en with the problem.
It seems that especially on these sites the auto-detection of the login fields tend to not work, and there is no way to select the fields as the overlay blocks clicking on the page to advance to the password field.
