Can the date format be in "system" format of the site/course? In Portugal we have day/month/year and it appears month/day/year. imagem

The previous implementation renders the date as  "mm/dd/yy" but many languages prefer the standard format "dd/mm/yy". Moreover, this is easier to read as a header of a timeline or a table.

we were going to suggest (and provide a merge request for) a site level activity config for this but the locale approach seems more elegant
