Hi everyone,
I've been working with the MONDO ontology mappings and noticed that the mondo.sssom.tsv file uses the justification label Unspecified for all mappings, whereas other files often use the ManualMappingCuration label.
I have a few questions regarding the differences between these two justification types:
Methods of Creation:
How are mappings labeled as Unspecified created compared to those labeled as ManualMappingCuration?
Expected Precision:
Is there a difference in the expected precision or reliability of mappings between these two types? Specifically, should we consider mappings labeled as ManualMappingCuration to be more precise or accurate than those labeled as Unspecified?
Understanding these differences will help us better interpret and utilize the mappings in our projects.
Thanks!
