Introducing the ability to create and execute macros would make Scoot a handy, lightweight automation tool.

Here's an example of using Scoot to control an app that's running in the iOS simulator:

move-and-click.mp4

When developing that custom pop-up menu, for example, it would have been great to be able to quickly throw together a macro that exercises some of its features. Not a substitute for real UI testing, but really handy for that highly iterative cycle of initial dev.
