Hi,

first of all - great and thanks for sharing that piece of code and system!

I would like to use the SOGO as a webmail frontend and first of all for it's ActiveSync support. Therefore there are some base requirements. In case that I don't be "in" MOX by the moment, I like to ask if this would be fit:

If you plan to use ActiveSync, an IMAP server supporting the ACL, UIDPLUS, QRESYNC, ANNOTATE (or X-GUID) IMAP extensions is required.

from the documentation of SOGO.

Thanks for some feedback in advanced.

Tom

Hi Tom! The mox imapserver currently does implement UIDPLUS and QRESYNC but does not yet implement ACL and ANNOTATE extensions. I think implementing ANNOTATE should be relatively easy. ACL doesn't seem big (looking at the RFC), but it may have requirements that take quite some work to implement. Would have to look into that. Do you think these are the only requirements for sogo?

And for my understanding: Does sogo provide its own activesync server, translating between regular imap/smtp/etc?

Hi Mechiel,

as far as I know from the other requirements, yes - ACL, UIDPLUS, QRESYNC, ANNOTATE (or X-GUID) IMAP extensions - are necessary.

Does sogo provide its own activesync server, translating between regular imap/smtp/etc?

Yes, it works like a proxy in between.
