# Create the database & user

    $ mysqladmin -u root -p create cpan

    mysql> GRANT SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE, DROP, INDEX
        ON cpan.* TO some_user@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'some_password';

# Update the config with db name, user & password.

    $ vi psnic.conf

# I would suggest tweaking the MySQL fulltext parameters.  Note these
# change the settings for ALL databases on the server.
# In the [mysqld] section of my.cnf (/etc/mysql/my.cnf on debian/ubuntu)

# Create the tables/schema

    $ ./script/index.pl -v --reset-db
