Your regular expression works nearly perfect - even if spans with color or size are added to the tags. But font-family expressions fail, when they add an alternative font, because one must use a comma to separate them. This will be interpreted as start of a new tag

If the regular expression is changed in such a way, that commas within double apostrophes are ignored as delimiter between tags, then its perfect :-)
