Pass downloads to Internet Download Manager

Hi,
is there a way to pass the download to idm's extension for download on click to the video download button.
Or
As batch download via idm extension.

Please guide, on what changes can be made to do so.

I didn't use IDM before, so I am not sure.

But I could imagine that IDM is working with the browser downloads, however in this case with the JS API of chrome as you mentioned.

However, if you could find a solution and submit a PR, it would be great.

I am not familiar with extension dev api's, so can u tell me that, is there a way to call idm's extension from this extension for handling download instead of chrome chrome.downloads.download.

I try to do the changes if there is a way.
