If cassandra backup fails, the tasks (either snapshot or upload) sometimes not getting killed and it keeps eating the mesos resources even if the backup task has been stopped via dcos cassandra backup stop. It just keeps running and there is no way to stop it other than by killing the whole cassandra service.
