Can we have a ZIP binary here similar to schemacrawler with additional lints jar added to the lib folder , rather than downloading the jar and adding that to lib folder separately ?

The aim of additional lints is not to replace official distribution.
In my opinion, you'd rather

  • ask @schemacrawler to add it (I think he won't as it adds a strong couplage)
  • take a custom packages (deb, rpm, chocolatey or homebrew)
  • fork official repo and add the jars to the distrib (and maintain it 😄 )

If agree with this @bheemreddy181 : can you close this issue ?

Typically we aren’t replacing the original package either ways just that it is present in two different place one with additional lints and one without additional lints similar way of Debian package.

For people who are using it on Mac or windows if they need just schema crawler they would still go on to the main package if they additional lints as well they will download it from here.

Then it should be asked to official schemacrawler distribution.
The draw back of doing this is that @schemacrawler will rely on additional lints to release its own, that's why I think there are very few chances to be done this way.

Typical use case : imagin the latest schemacrawler releases causes regression on additional-lints (already happened in the past) : @schemacrawler will be stuck in ts release process while he shouldn't.

Either way each time schema crawler gets released dependency bot would ask us to bump the same on additional lints as well correct then we will release a new binary with additional-lints jar added to the lib
