Detalhes do erro

Um erro do tipo E_COMPILE_ERROR foi causado na linha 286 do arquivo /home/u243713498/domains/studio27.digital/public_html/quanta/wp-content/plugins/modulo-woocommerce-master/includes/class-wc-maxipago-api.php. Mensagem de erro: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported

Em contato com suporte do MaxiPago, fui informado que só funciona até a versão 4.x do WordPress, que eu teria de fazer downgrade se quisesse usar... Zero sentido...

Sabem dizer que é esse o problema ?
