Support for garmin edge 840 solar

could you please add support for the garmin edge 840 solar?

Hiya :) Sure I'll update it now.
But! You shouldn't need to use this data field with the latest Garmin Edge units (like your 840 solar). They should automatically be able to connect to Shimano e-bike motors without additional installs. And in fact using this data field with the Edge 840 may prevent other connections between the Edge and your bike working (since only 1 connection works at a time) - so you are probably better off not using this data field :)
